IT'S BEGINNING TO LOOK LIKE CHRISTMAS, AT LEAST AT MY HOUSE! THAT CALLS FOR A GIVEAWAY

Wednesday, September 1, 2010

As of today, this blog goes back to all things HOLIDAY!  My shop is filled with storage boxes, trees, wreaths, ornaments, more ornaments, ribbon (probably more than you have ever seen and we will still run out), mesh ribbon in every color you can imagine (I just counted 90 rolls).  It is really  dangerous to be in the shop. I do a lot of tripping over things.   I spend the entire month of September sorting ornaments, making plans for new jobs, making wreaths, and on and on...It is a hard work month.
So for this month I am going to have some guest bloggers.  I already have the post from the first blog friend that I will post later this week.  I would love hearing from others that love Christmas; about your decorating themes, any tips you want to share about preparing for the holidays.  I had someone ask me to do a post on a "to do" schedule and how to have a stress-free Christmas.  In my work, there is no such thing and my schedule is so different than others that one of you might be better at addressing that. I would love to hear from you.  I will be happy to showcase your blog. 75% of my shopping is done  and my trees will go up the first of October, so my schedule is really not one that fits most people.  I have the privilege of getting exquisite ornaments at market for great prices.  So the first GIVEAWAY will be a group of ornaments very similar to the ones above. THERE WILL BE 2 WINNERS, so two packages of gorgeous ornaments are waiting for YOU to win. I am one of those people that think there is no such thing as TOO many ornaments! Parker will draw on Monday night so spread the word that there is a
CHRISTMAS GIVEAWAY!  I am excited to give away something glitzy!  Also, email me at (annah99@aol.com) if you would like to write a post. You will also be hearing from Terri, my head elf...but first she is going on a 7 day cruise next week..
For the GIVEAWAY, as always, ALL you have to do is leave a comment..If there is anything special you want to see more of or know more about on this blog, also include that.

I love Christmas. Last year our storage unit was broken into and 75% (5 boxes) of my Christmas things were stolen. I was so happy to find my ornament box was left - as I have collected for years from around the world.

So last Christmas I bought lots of new things with insurance money . . . So opening my boxes this year will be full of surprises and still a little sadness.

I look forward to your Christmas blog.

Fondly,
Glenda

WooHoo, my favorite holiday, celebratin' the birth of our Lord and Savior. Live is gooooood! :o)

I always inventory what is needed for the next year when I'm packin' away my Christmas here on the Ponderosa and I write what I need to purchase for the upcoming year on the next year's calendar on the first week of October. That way I'm always prepared and ready to rumble the day after Thanksgiving.

God bless and have the best season ever sweetie!!!

You're my kinda gal...no such thing as too many ornaments! hehe I so LOVE Christmas and now seeing your holiday post/giveaway, I'm getting all excited that it's only over 3 months away:-) It certainly does sound like you are VERY busy when this time of year comes around, it boggles my mind everything you do. But, no doubt just watching the people's faces when they see the trees you do up for them makes it all worth it!! xoxo

I love Christmas. When I was working at the nursing home, I helped decorate about 5 trees plus several resident areas. I didn't have the energy for much decorating at home. This year may be differant since I'm not working anywhere but at home =)

I look forward to some decorating tips. How wonderful to get them directly from an expert!

I do tablescapes for our Women's Christmas Brunch.....I really don't know what I'm doing but I seem to pull it together somehow every year. Any tips would be soooo appreciated!

Thanks so much for coming over to my blog and commenting on my Beth Moore post. I LOVE your blog. Me and my husband are addicted to Christmas. We do a snowman themed tree every year. I have a hand painted snowman head gourd that I got at a craft fair here in Virginia that is my tree topper. I would love to share picture of all our snowman themed stuff if your interested. I should mention its not just the tree. The stockings all of our decorations are snowmen!! It gets crazy over here.

So needless to say I'm really excited about your blog! And yes I would love to try and win free stuff like ornaments :)

I LOVE your blog! Christmas is my very FAVORITE time of year. I love to decorate. I would have my tree up in early October if I thought my husband wouldn't have a heart attack about it. I also believe you can never have too many decorations. I spent several hours in Hobby Lobby recently just reveling in all of their wonderful holiday decorations and eagerly anticipating adding to my collection. I am looking forward to any tree trimming tips that you have to offer.~Leigh Ann
