ANOTHER HOME AND A GIVEAWAY

Sunday, December 4, 2011

Another house, another friend, a few more pictures.  We actually did this house while my client and friend was in the hospital.  She is still  there and you will not waste a prayer on her.  I hope she will be blessed when she  gets to come home and her halls are decked.  The hospital was close to her house and another elf and I were able to stop by and pray with her after we finished her tree.  She is one of those people that just make you feel special.  She makes you laugh.  You always leave her presence feeling better than when you arrived.  I am believing for a MIRACLE for her.

If  you missed this, or this or this  you missed a beautiful and unique house.

I am pretty much on the couch with my ankle up. Not my idea of fun.  In the last few days we have been blessed with homemade potato soup, chocolate pie, fabulous lasagna, shrimp, spaghetti and meat balls and to die for chicken salad.

My elves took care of the houses we had on Thursday and Friday.  My first tree days to ever MISS.
We only have two houses left and I think I will be able to work some...you will not be finding me climbing any ladders.

I go to the doctor tomorrow and am hoping he will agree with me that its not as bad as we first thought.

It has for sure been a week.

Late yesterday, my elf,  Terri messaged me that she was headed to the ER to check on her 2 year old granddaughter.. Lillianna had swallowed a glass Christmas ornament.

After a few anxious hours, they decided to keep her overnight for observation.  She is home today and fine.

So I have not left the house since Wed night and its been a challenge.  There was plenty I needed to do here, but I could not be on my feet.

AND for the record I am the worlds worst at crutches.

NOW TO A GIVEAWAY.

This will be my BIG Christmas GIVE!!
I want  YOU to win it.  It will be a $100 Box of Christmas goodies
I want to ship it out next Monday where you can enjoy it  during the holidays.  Parker will draw on Sunday.

I know you must be frustrated being tied down on the couch. I'm more frustrated with my own decor after I have looked at your talent. I just can't do it. I'm on my way to Hobby Lobby. Hope you have a great day.

I'm glad you're doing better, and also glad Teri's grandbaby didn't have to have surgery.
Our grandson will have more surgery on his leg on the 20th. He will have a bone graft.
The trees and houses have all been beautiful.

Have a Merry Christmas!

Love Jack's creativity!

I do have questions!!!

1) Do your clients supply the ornaments and assoted decorations when you deck the halls?

2) If you supply/purchase them, where do you find your best decorations/best prices?

3) Do you prefer decorating real or artificial trees?

So glad you are feeling better and happy you have such wonderful friends to cover for you and bring you delicious offerings!

I am really struggling to get in the Christmas spirit this year. I thought my daughter-in-law would be home from prison at Thanksgiving and now it appears it will be mid-January before she is released. It looks like another year that my grandson will be without his mom for Christmas. Makes me sad for him and all of us.

On a side note, I loved your little Rudolph. Wouldn't it be wonderful to see Christmas through the eyes of a child again?

Blessings to you and yours!

Beautiful trees as usual. So sorry you got hurt. I had a bad sprain once and you really do have to baby it...so it won't come back (o:
Do you put the ribbon on the tree after all the ornaments? Have never done it because it looks complicated.
Cute red nose on your little one (o:

So sorry about your accident. You must really trust your elves because you don't seemed stressed out. I hope the owner of this beautiful home is home from the hospital soon.

A swallowed glass ornament. That can't be good. What will kids think of next to swallow. My son once swallowed 8 little screws off of a game just for the heck of it. I was so mad that I didn't take him to the doctor for a couple of days. It all worked out.

Beautiful trees! We didn't put ours up yet. Will use the fake one this year. Real ones are nice but too messy! Hope you are back on your feet soon! Merry Christmas!

Dear Teresa, I wish I lived close enough to help your elves so I could learn how in the world you make these trees sooooooo beautiful! I pray that you are allowed to get up and about doing the things you need to be doing! I had surgery on both of my feet MANY years ago and did not like being seated for so long! I stay busy and I know you do too!

Have a blessed day my friend and please add my name to the pot for the giveaway:) Thanks!

Teresa,

Sorry to hear that you are "Temporarily" out of service on crutches. Will be praying for quick healing but thank you for still taking the time to share such amazing pictures for all of us.

Here's a question, how do you know when you have too much on your tree?

Please enter me in the giveaway and hope you stop by mine and join in the fun too!

You are such a wonderful person to cheer people up that are in the hospital. I know she will be thrilled when she gets home. It's got to be hard for you to stay home and do nothing. I know it drives me insane.

Will try again, no luck leaving a message. Sure hope you are back on your feet soon! Had a dear friend break her heel bone Fri- crutches in a 3 level house - not fun. She crawls up the stairs for bed time and comes back down bottom first in the AM - and she is on Medicare! Praying for the miracle for your friend/client.

Oh yes please enter me in the drawing! (:>) I am so sorry that you got hurt. I know it is hard to be off your feet when you have so much to do. Glad you have Elf helpers! (:>)

This is another beautiful tree! There must be a gazillion ornaments on there. What a nice home. I hope your friend gets well soon.

Hi Teresa,
I have been thinking of you and just imagining you been laid up on the couch...resting like you should but wanting to get up and decorate a tree!!! You are in my prayers!
I would love to be entered! Goodness gracious YES! Thank you for the opportunity!
Question....how in the world do you secure your ornaments on the branches? They are so full and beautiful!
Question....do you do the "take down" and put away! Ugggggggg to me!
Question....Are the trees you decorate always artificial or do you ever do real?
Question....do you start with lights, then ribbon, then ornaments???

Only answer what you want!!
Hugs,
Tanya

I love your trees! Can you do a "how to video " from the couch?? lol! I rolled my ankle playing tennis several years ago and I used a wheelchair for a couple weeks. That is one serious injury. Take care of yourself!

I've never seen such a full and bountiful tree! So pretty. I decorate my tree with ornaments we've given the children over the years and our own yearly ornaments. We have a small tree, about the size of me, and so it's full.

Blessings and may God heal you completely. I ask it in Jesus' Name.
