RANDOM DOZEN 2010....I LOVE LEARNING ABOUT MY BLOGGING BUDDIES

I am joining Linda at 2nd cup of coffee for Random Dozen again. I love learning more about all my blog friends..

1. When was the last time you craved a food--what was it, and did you cave? Potato Soup and yes my husband made a huge pot and it was wonderful...Remember I am not a cook.

2. M & M's or Skittles? M & Ms .....Peanut...my favorite candy at the movies.

3. Have you ever read the Bible completely through? No, but have started several times

4. How long does it take you to really wake up in the morning? A LONG TIME. I am NOT a MORNING PERSON. Coffee, read the paper, check my email and then I might be ready to get moving...

5. Have you ever been on a cruise? Several...our son gave us one for our 25th anniversary and we have taken 2 more. It is not my favorite way to vacation, but then if you have read my blog much, you know I love the MOUSE.

6. Who is your favorite actress? I love Sandra Bullock

7. Sagging pants is something that I will just never understand.

8. How much of a technology junkie are you? Moderate but always wanting something new. Have few WANTS in life, but I do love a new laptop...I am a laptop junkie....

9. Do you enjoy selecting greeting cards for people, or is it more of a cultural "have to" for you? One of My FAVORITE THINGS to do is send cards. I still love snail mail.

10. When was the last time you got a new style/haircut? getting a haircut and color TOMORROW

11. What do you enjoy shopping for most? Clothes for the GRANDKIDS...ESPECIALLY PAJAMAS. I cannot pass up kids pajamas and according to my daughter I think they should wear a new pair every night. I know, SICK!

12. What's the last thing you think of before you leave the house? Are there any candles burning and where is my cell phone?

UPDATE ON MAGGIE

I am so sorry that some of you were waiting for a report on Maggie last night. The surgery lasted until late into the night.
I am going to post the email I got from Maggie's grandmother this morning.

No wonder Maggie has a Black Belt in Tae Know Do----She is a real fighter!!!!Mike and Kristi said "Maggie is doing well-she is awake, alert, moving and talking. Everything went well--Drs. are pleased.( ICU for several days) It will be several weeks until they can tell if the tumor shrinks. The surgery was over last night -their time 10:30pm. We know God's angels were in the operating room helping all the Drs. since early yesterday morning and giving Maggie such Great strength. All these THANK YOU JESUS ! Thank you for all the PRAYERS and support!!!! Please Praise and Give our God the Glory!!!! Love to all!!! Gail

Please continue to send prayers and well wishes and I will pass them on to the family. Thank you for caring about a little girl that you do not know.

Also, a prayer will not be wasted on our sweet Grayson today. He is six months and very sick with two ear infections and a virus. His blood count is way off and he has to go back to the doctor today. Needless to say his parents have gotten little sleep in 4 days and now they are both sick. I would say their house is an infirmary. I am so ready for the SICK season to be over.

I just had an email from Maggie's Grandmother and her surgery is scheduled for 6:30 AM tomorrow and the doctor said it could last up to 10 hours. Please pray as if it were your child or grandchild. The previous post explains more about Maggie. Any prayers or comments I will pass on to the family.
